ANIMAL PORN - AN OVERVIEW

We used obscenity legislation to prosecute child porn. In 1978, Congress enacted a regulation that prohibited the creation of child porn with out proof of obscenity, but the regulation was restricted to content developed for pecuniary earnings. It wasn't right up until right after 1982, when the Supreme Court held that child porn may be prosecuted
